Privacy Policy

Effective 3 September 2026 · Last updated 8 October 2026

The short version. We collect your name and email when you buy something, and that's about it. We never see your card details — our payment provider handles that.

The free calculators and the QR generator on this site run entirely inside your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us or to anyone else.

We don't sell your data. Ever.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Gregory Brad Hofmeister ("Beyond Evermore", "we", "us"), 6101 North Keystone Ave., Ste. 100 #1473, Indianapolis, IN 46220. For data-protection purposes we are the controller of the personal information described here.

Contact: brad@beyondevermore.com

2. What we collect

When you buy

  • Your name and email address
  • Your country, and where required for tax, your state or region
  • Order details — what you bought, when, the amount, and an order reference

This comes to us from Stripe Managed Payments, our payment provider, after your purchase completes. The merchant of record for your purchase, Sold through Link, LLC (shown to you as "Link"), also processes your information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Before you are sent to payment, we also record that you ticked the acknowledgment box on our checkout page, along with the time, your IP address and your browser type. This is our proof that you gave your consent.

When you email us

Your email address and whatever you write to us, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

When you visit the site

Standard technical information that any web server receives — IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed. If analytics is enabled, see section 7.

3. What we don't collect

Two things are worth stating plainly, because they're unusual.

The tools run in your browser

The wedding calculators and the QR generator are built entirely with code that runs on your device. Your guest count, your budget figures, the links you turn into QR codes — none of it is transmitted to us, stored by us, or sent to any third party. There is no server involved. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet: the tools keep working.

We also never receive or store your payment card details. Those go directly to our payment provider and are never visible to us. See section 5.

4. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To deliver what you bought — sending your access, answering support questions, honouring your license. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • To keep required records — orders, tax and accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • To keep proof of your checkout acknowledgment — the consent record described in section 2. Legal basis: legitimate interests, to show we met consumer-law requirements and to defend any claim.
  • To send product updates about the Collection you own — for example when we add something. Legal basis: legitimate interests, and you can opt out at any time.
  • To send marketing email, if and only if you asked for it. Legal basis: consent.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it, if analytics is enabled. Legal basis: consent where required, otherwise legitimate interests.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe Managed Payments, which acts as merchant of record for your purchase. That means Stripe Managed Payments is the seller of record, processes your payment, and collects and remits applicable sales tax or VAT.

Your card number and security details are entered on Stripe Managed Payments's systems and are never transmitted to or stored by us. We receive only your name, email, country, and the order details needed to deliver the product and keep our records.

Stripe Managed Payments processes your data under its own privacy policy, which applies alongside this one for the payment portion of your purchase.

6. Who we share with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

  • Stripe Managed Payments — payment processing, tax, invoicing, order records
  • Our email provider — to send access emails and any newsletter you signed up for
  • Our website host — which necessarily processes server logs
  • Analytics, if enabled — see section 7

We may also disclose information if legally required, or to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

7. Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own, and we do not use advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers of any kind.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. We chose it specifically because of how little it collects. It does not set cookies, does not write to your browser’s storage, does not create a visitor ID, a session ID or a device fingerprint, and cannot follow you to any other website. There is no way for us — or for Cloudflare — to recognize you as a returning visitor.

What it does record, all of it aggregated:

  • the address of the page you loaded, and the page or search that referred you
  • your browser and device type, in general terms
  • the country your visit came from, worked out from your IP address — the IP address itself is not stored
  • how quickly the page loaded, and whether it returned an error

Because nothing is stored on your device and no identifier is created, this does not require a cookie consent banner, which is why you have not been asked to dismiss one. If you would rather not be counted at all, any standard content or script blocker will stop it, and the site will work exactly the same way. Cloudflare describes the service here.

Keep this section accurate

This describes a site whose only measurement is cookieless and aggregate. If Google Analytics, a Meta pixel, a TikTok pixel or any advertising tag is ever added, this section must be rewritten to name it and say what it does, and visitors in the EU and UK must be given a genuine choice before it loads — the tag must not run until they agree. A banner that only says "we use cookies" is not sufficient.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you using the calculators or the QR generator, since neither depends on them.

8. Email

If you buy from us, we'll email you your access and anything necessary about your order. These are transactional messages and you can't opt out of them while your order is active.

We'll only send marketing emails if you ask for them. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe and our postal address, and we act on unsubscribes promptly. We don't sell or rent our list.

9. How long we keep it

  • Order records — as long as required by tax and accounting law, typically seven years.
  • Checkout consent records — for as long as we keep the matching order record, typically seven years.
  • Customer email and license record — for as long as your license is active, so we can verify it and send you updates.
  • Support emails — up to three years after the conversation ends.
  • Marketing list — until you unsubscribe, plus a minimal suppression record so we don't email you again by mistake.
  • Server logs — a short period set by our host, typically weeks.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Delete it, subject to records we must legally keep
  • Restrict or object to how we use it
  • Receive it in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it
  • Complain to your data protection authority

To exercise any of these, email brad@beyondevermore.com. We'll respond within 24 hours. We may need to confirm your identity first — usually just by replying from the address on your order.

Deleting your account record will not revoke your license, but it may leave us unable to verify your purchase later or send you updates.

11. California residents

Under the CCPA and CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

The categories we collect are identifiers (name, email, IP address) and commercial information (order history). We collect them for the purposes in section 4, from you and from our payment provider.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, including from anyone we know to be under 16. There is nothing to opt out of, but you may still make any request above by emailing us.

12. International transfers

We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States or elsewhere. If you're in the EU, UK or another region with data-transfer rules, your information may be transferred outside your country. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses in our providers' terms.

13. Children

This site and product are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and reputable providers who maintain their own security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

The main thing worth knowing: because we don't hold payment details and the site's tools don't transmit what you type into them, there is very little about you for us to lose.

15. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we'll tell customers by email.
